July 4th Opening Picnic

Monday, July 4th at 11:00 a.m. Enjoy this annual event where we host an afternoon of relay races and lawn games at the Fleet House.  The Fleet will provide a light BBQ lunch, drinks, sides, and desserts.

Awards Picnics

Our annual picnics take place once in July and once in August. These events, for all NEHSS sailors and rowers, allow our instructors to award their students certificates of participation and honor standout sailors with a few special awards: Most Improved, Shipshape, and the Captain's Rowing Award. Trophies are also awarded to the winners of the Peggy Kennedy, July Junior Championships, Campbell Henry, August Junior Championships, the Towers Seamanship Contest, and Parent-Child Mercury race winners.
